Elizabeth’s monochrome sampler was reproduced using Soie 100.3 from Au Ver à Soie. We have provided conversions for Soie d’Alger (SDA) and DMC. Only one spool or skein is required when working on 36ct to 56ct linen. On 28ct to 32ct linen two skeins of either SDA or DMC are needed.

The design area is 127 stitches (w) x 110 stitches (h). Our calculations have included a 3″ margin for finishing and framing. The model was stitched on linen that was overdyed to the shade “Lichen” by Tabbycat Linen.

The sampler can be stitched on Aida or linen.

28ct: Design: 9.07″ x 7.86″ Fabric: 15.07″ x 13.86″

32ct: Design: 7.94″ x 6.88″ Fabric: 13.94″ x 12.88″

36ct: Design: 7.06″ x 6.11″ Fabric: 13.06″ x 12.11″

40ct: Design: 6.35″ x 5.50″ Fabric: 12.35″ x 11.50″

46ct: Design: 5.52″ x 4.78″ Fabric: 11.52″ x 10.78″

56ct: Design: 4.54″ x 3.93″ Fabric: 10.54″ x 9.93″
